Our Mission
Founded in 2020, Fireguard Veteran Relief Inc. has made tremendous impact thanks to the help of members and volunteers in the community.
The core of our work lies in the continuous passion and dedication we bring to the range of projects we take part in. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Our programs serve veterans and families and is designed to support the process of establishing wellness, autonomy, independence and stability.
The main objectives of the program is to help participants access housing, medical/behavioral health support, remove obstacles to community resources and maintain a source of income.

What We Do
Meaningful Work

Local Empowerment
The Local Empowerment program is our longest running initiative, based on the premise that making a real difference is not only possible but vital. At Fireguard Veteran Relief Inc., Local Empowerment is a source of great pride for our Veteran Service Organization.
Fireguard Veteran Relief offers peer support groups, provides transportation to health appointments, job interviews and related functions as well as food and clothing donations.
The organization also provides general advocacy to support the process of acquiring veterans benefits.

Housing
We see every challenge as an opportunity, and our Housing initiative help Fireguard Veteran Relief Inc. ensure that those we serve are better prepared to persevere.
Fireguard participates with the Housing Choice & HUDVASH programs to offer transitional and permanent housing options in Georgia and Arizona.
Transitional housing
Veterans who are seeking transitional housing and in need of career development and seeking to establish independence and autonomy.
Permanent Housing
Veteran who has been successful within transitional housing for 5 months and has established employment; or are otherwise able to maintain independence in housing option.
